In addition to the half-dovetail and full-dovetail corner notches, Hearthstone has recently introduced a 45° V-Notch Corner.  Named for its inverted V-shaped joint, the V-notch was originally brought over from Scandinavia, as a variant of the saddle notch, and became an integral part of life in the new world.  The V-notch formed a solid, locked corner and is currently available in the Timberwright log home system.
